Dr. Marc A. Franz
DVM
Dr. Marc Franz founded Woodbury Animal Hospital in 1996, bringing over 30 years of veterinary experience. A graduate of Cornell University, he has served in leadership roles with the Long Island Veterinary Medical Association and has been recognized for his emergency response efforts at the World Trade Center. Dr. Franz is dedicated to providing expert care with compassion and has been a trusted part of the community since day one.

Dr. Jennifer Mignone
DVM
Dr. Jennifer Mignone was born and raised on the south shore of Long Island. After receiving her BS in biology, she attended Kansas State University, College of veterinary medicine where she graduated with her DVM degree. Dr. Mignone returned to Long Island where she completed a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery.
Dr. Mignone went into private practice on the south shore and joined the team at Woodbury Animal Hospital in 2007. She has been practicing for 20 years and enjoys all aspects of internal medicine, ultrasound, and loves to work with cats.
Dr. Mignone has 6 pets! 3 dogs and 3 cats. She has 2 teenaged children and lives with her husband and kids on the south shore of Long Island. In her free time, she enjoys reading, biking, and Pilates.
Dr. Casey Roth
DVM
Dr. Casey Roth was born and raised on the North Shore of Long Island. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical Civilization at Binghamton University and gained hands-on experience working at multiple small animal clinics and volunteering at an alpaca farm in upstate New York. She went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in May 2025 after completing her clinical training at UW Veterinary Care at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
Dr. Roth is excited to join the team at Woodbury Animal Hospital. She is passionate about small animal primary care and soft tissue surgery, with special interests in dermatology and special species, and looks forward to building strong relationships with clients and their pets.
She shares her home with Luna, a tuxedo cat adopted during veterinary school, and Chewy, a Bernese Mountain Dog–Great Pyrenees mix. In her free time, she enjoys painting, drawing, and reading.
